INITIAL INTRODUCTION CALL - 15 MINUTES

This is an informal conversation not an assessment or therapy. It’s an opportunity for you to find out more about how I work and for me to find out what you are seeking to work on and see if we are a good fit. There is no obligation to go ahead although if you do decide to, we will mutually agree an appointment slot and I will share the next steps.
PSYCHOTHERAPY / EMDR THERAPY SESSION
£90 p/hour
This is based on the full hour rather than a standard 50-minute therapy session. My fees are within the typical range for psychotherapists with my level of skills, knowledge and experience.
There may be free services available to you either through the NHS or local and national charities. You can find these online or can seek advice on this from your GP if this is your preference. I can also help to point you in the right direction.
OTHER TIME SPENT
£90 p/hour
If you require any additional support from me in the form of reports, letters of support or other requirement e.g.: my attendance at meetings or other significant time spent, my standard hourly rate is calculated on a pro rata basis for the work required. This would be discussed and mutually agreed upfront.
CANCELLATION POLICY
It’s not lost on me that cancellation policies can be difficult to digest. Therapy is a weekly (unless otherwise agreed) commitment. Aside from sickness or planned holidays if you cancel your appointment for any other reason, unless this is due to exceptional circumstances then the full fee will be incurred. For exceptional circumstances I will always endeavour to reschedule your session to avoid this. This policy is to protect your support needs, the service and my time as I am unable to fill your appointment slot at short notice. There is more detail on this when we contract together if you do decide to go ahead.
REDUCED FEES
A percentage of my practice is made up of reduced fee work where personal circumstances reflect a need. These are all currently taken but please feel free to enquire about them. I can also point you to other therapists or services that might be able to accommodate your needs.
